Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

The Cayman Islands is the place where love stories begin, where families reconnect, and where friends share happy memories time and time again. A destination to relax your mind and soothe your soul.

Solitude can still be found the more you’re willing to explore Grand Cayman. Each stretch of beach is a new opportunity for some fun in the sun. The translucent water is so clear you can easily spot the kaleidoscope of fish that make the snorkeling and diving here second-to-none.

Find a cold rum-based concoction and private cabana along the sparkling seven mile stretch of beach and drop anchor, leaving your cares at home for the day. See a wilder side of the island on a horseback adventure through tropical mangroves. Mingle with the stingrays, swim with the gigantic green sea turtles, stroll through the fragrant flowers or try your hand at bone fishing.

In the evening, dine on super fresh seafood prepared by top chefs like Eric Ripert. It's easy to understand why it is the culinary capital of the Caribbean.

The most pleasant weather is during the winter, from mid-November to April. During this time there is little rain, brilliant sunshine and a constant cool sea breeze. May to November is the rainy season, but unless there is a tropical depression sitting over Cayman, the rain is normally only heavy for a few hours and then stops for the rest of the day. It is not uncommon to have heavy rain in one part of town while it remains dry nearby.
